GLOBAL WARMING
Date: 2010-12-01
Are you wondering why your weather has gone funny?
Another interview by Inspector Mayes.
GLOBAL WARMING IS THE PLANET GETTING WARMER.
Inspector Mayes: How does it happen?
Collin: Greenhouse gasses (like CO2) go up into the atmosphere and in a way make a blanket around Earth that traps heat.
So if the planet is getting warmer why do some places get colder?
That's because, well...Let me explain. Now, you know hot and cold air travel around the world and the equator is the hottest bit. Well the hot air pushes the cold air from the poles down, causing other places to get the cold weather. And everything swirls about in strange ways, so some places get colder while other bits are hotter.
Oh.
